International Volunteer Network of Chicago
Increasing Corporate Volunteerism Through Business Networking
Welcome!
Dear Friends,

Thank you for visiting our website!

We chartered the International Volunteer Network of Chicago (IVNC) in 2009 to stimulate networking and volunteer opportunities in and between Chicago's business professionals and its large international diplomatic community.

Our goal is not only to provide an avenue for diplomats and business professionals to increase their business and social networks, but also so charitable organizations that do so much good both in Chicago and internationally can gain recognition and attract new volunteers and advocates.

To accomplish this objective, IVNC hosts a series of Business & Diplomats Receptions. These business networking events highlight various non-profit organizations and the volunteer opportunities they offer. The first six events we hosted have focused on Literacy, VolunTourism, Enabling the Disabled, Volunteering in the Arts, Education for Our Future and Volunteering and the Environment.

Our next event will be our Diplomats Day Reception and Lunch Celebration at the Union League of Chicago on Tuesday, June 18. This event will highlight The World Peace Initiative and feature The Honorable Aidan Cronin, Consul General of Ireland. Co-sponsoring the event are the Rotary Club of Chicago and the Fulbright Association, Chicago Chapter.

Join us to network with members of the Chicago Consular Corps, Chicago International Trade Commissioners Association and the international business community and learn more about the efforts being made globally on behalf of world peace.
